Shaun’s strong background in litigation allows the firm to handle a wide variety of legal issues, ranging from complex insurance subrogation, to disputes regarding commercial transactions. Shaun also handles personal injury cases for individuals that have been injured in any type of accident. Shaun was selected as a Super Lawyer Rising Star for Plaintiff's Personal injury for 6 years (2013-2018).
In 2000, Shaun received his B.A. in International Studies from the University of Washington in Washington State. He also attended school at the University of Oslo, in Oslo, Norway, during the summer of 1998. Shaun received his law degree from Seattle University School of Law in Washington State, where he was active in many Moot Court competitions. Shaun also worked as a Rule Nine Intern while at Seattle University, where he represented defendants in criminal proceedings. After graduating from Seattle University in 2003, Shaun worked at the Society of Counsel Representing Accused Persons in Kent, Washington. From there, Shaun worked as an attorney at the Pierce County Department of Assigned Counsel. Shaun’s time at the Department of Assigned Counsel gave him the litigation experience that he uses today to try civil cases.
On February 1, 2005, Shaun opened the doors of the Huppert Law Firm, PLLC, and began using his litigation experience to serve insurance and commercial clients. Since that time Shaun’s work at the firm has garnered him recognition from A.M. Best, as an Insurance Attorney. Now, Shaun focuses on personal injury, collection, insurance, and commercial matters.
Shaun also attends local and national CLE’s in order to further his legal expertise. Shaun is licensed to practice in Federal and Washington State and Oregon State Courts. Shaun authored and presented the Subrogation Basics section of the CLE. Insurance Fundementals for Personal Injury Practice.
